Little River Band - Backstage Pass: Live (1980)

"Backstage Pass" is a double live album by Little River Band. An Australian rock band, formed in Melbourne in 1975. Originally released in Australia as two separate single albums, the first in January 1980 as "Backstage Pass", Little River Band in concert with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra - Recorded in Australia in the Adelaide Festival Theatre, 1979. And the second in April 1980 as "Live In America", Little River band in concert - Recorded at various venues in USA and Canada in oct-nov 1979.
They were merged later that year with their release in the United States as simply "Backstage Pass".
This live album is the original classic Little River Band in top perfomance! The song "Light Of Day" is the best song on the album and an endless perfomance with Orchestra and all. That song alone shows just how talented the ORIGINAL BAND ('Birtles, Shorrock, Goble") was. The music and lyrics for most of the group's compositions were contributed by Graham Goble and Glenn Shorrock primarily, with contributions from Beeb Birtles and David Briggs
