Alyssa Milano - Do You See Me? (1992)

Alyssa Jayne Milano (born December 19, 1972) is an American actress, producer and former singer.
“Do You See Me?” is Alyssa Milano's fourth studio album, and her last album consisting of new material. Released September 18, 1992, it has a more mature sound and lyrics than the earlier albums. The album's only single was the title track "Do You See Me?".
A bright set mixing straight-ahead dance-pop with slightly funkier twists than Milano's previous albums, “Do You See Me” is considerably more substantial than “Locked Inside a Dream”. The production efforts of Jamey Jaz and Ren Toppano on that album were stale; here, the duo crafts a much more polished sound that adds color to the singer's plain voice. The standout track is "One Last Dance," a melancholy ballad whose melody brings to mind Natalie Cole's "Miss You Like Crazy" (minus the passion and fervor). "One Last Dance" epitomizes the more mellow, sophisticated approach of this album in comparison to the spunky, sometimes frivolous sounds of Milano's earlier tracks. Again, nothing life-changing, but efforts like the pop/hip-hop shuffler "Puppet on a String" have insinuating hooks and memorable arrangements. Vocal depth is the main missing ingredient; otherwise, “Do You See Me” possesses some of the most solid material in the singer's catalog.
