Hank Shizzoe - Walk (1996)

Hank Shizzoe (real name: Thomas Erb) (born 22. April 1966) is a guitar player, singer, songwriter, producer and part time actor from Switzerland.

His follow-up is even more expressive, more tight and showing his talents as one of the finest singer/songwriters and slide guitar experts, today.
In his songs, Hank’s a great storyteller who really loves the music of America’s south.
What a great Roots Rock album this is.
14 songs, all self-penned apart from the traditional “Blood In My Eyes”. The latter two were recorded with just one guitar and vocals. Most of the album was recorded in band-sessions, the rest was done by Hank with a little help from some friends. Both Michel Poffet and Christoph Beck – who were later to become “Loose Gravel” – play on “Walk”. The album offers almost 70 minutes of music between dirty swamp-blues, crunchy rockers, rockabilly with a folk-touch and laid-back ballads.
