In 1997 verschijnt "Travelling with the blues" van een opnieuw opgericht Cuby & the Blizzards.

Grote afwezige is Eelco Gelling. Zijn plaats wordt ingenomen door Erwin Java. Nieuw is ook harmonica-speler John Lagrand. De rest van de bezetting kent echter geen verrassingen: Helmig van der Vegt treffen we aan de piano en het ritmeduo bestaat uit Herman Deinum en Hans Lafaille.

"Travelling With The Blues" is door de Stichting Cuby + Blizzards gefinancierd en begin maart '97 uitgekomen. De cd is live opgenomen in bluesclub "De Lantaarn" Lantaarn in Hellendoorn-

 De songs op "Travelling with the blues" vormen een overzicht van Harry's bluescarrière. Van "Distant smile" tot "For real" en van "Just for fun" tot "No news is good news".

Met een gitaar-solo van Erwin Java in Eddie Boyd’s "Five long years" en de grommende mondharmonica van John Lagrand in "Brother booze" en "Hobo blues".
