Tanya Tucker - Love Songs (1996)

Released in August 1996 by Capitol Records, Love Songs is a 10-track, 34-minute compilation of Tanya Tucker's greatest contemporary country and romantic power ballads. 

Produced by Jerry Crutchfield, the album features hits from her most successful 1980s and 1990s era.

Love Songs is a budget-priced collection of Tanya Tucker's most popular love ballads from the late '80s and early '90s, as well as a few rarities ("I'm In Love and He's In Dallas" and "Your Love Amazes Me") that were previously only included on her eponymous box set. 

It's a nice collection, even if it is a little brief. 

However, it isn't a true hits compilation, so it's not as valuable or useful as some of her other collection. 

The compilation shines by blending massive career standards with harder-to-find ballads. 

Standout tracks like the chart-topping powerhouse "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane" and the emotionally resonant "Right About Now" highlight Tucker’s grit and vocal vulnerability

It serves as a satisfying, heartwarming listen for the budget-conscious listener. 

However, dedicated fans may already own these tracks across her full-length albums, and casual listeners are often pointed toward definitive greatest hits collections for a broader representation of her upbeat honky-tonk tracks.
