The Tragically Hip - Trouble At The Henhouse (1996)

"Trouble At The Henhouse" is the fifth full-length album from Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip. It was released on May 7, 1996. Produced by the band and Mark Vreeken, the album was mixed by Steven Drake, guitarist for Canadian band Odds, which had toured with the Hip the previous year.
With "Trouble At The Henhouse", The Tragically Hip turned in an album that is in the same vein as their previous record, "Day For Night". The album is a set of professional, but rarely exciting, anthemic hard rock that occasionally dips into pedestrian bar-band boogie. The Hip are at their best when they have a bit of grit in their sound, and for too much of the album they polish all of their rough edges away.
The cover art, a photograph by Avery Crounse, is also called "Trouble at the Henhouse".
